The One Million Youth SDGs Solutions Initiative

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, acknowledge the centrality of the youth and their role in the path towards sustainable development. The young people of today will mature in the next 15 years. The youth are the people who will experience the success or failure of the 2030 Agenda. Failure is not an option. It is directly linked to UN@75 and goes

To ensure that solutions are recognized by government, development partners and private sector, the Government and the UN in Uganda asked the National SDG Secretariat, under the Office of the Prime Minister, to work with the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator to serve as hub for the youth submitting solutions. The launch of the initiative will kick off activities in Uganda to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations.
